New Sermon Series Begins

Control in the Midst of Chaos: Sermons on the Book of Daniel reveals that during times of crisis and chaos, God is in control. Not only does the Book of Daniel demonstrate how God protects and provides for His children, it also proclaims a message of future hope and redemption. May we all journey through this series growing ever-more confident in who God is and how He loves and protects us.

  • Watch on our YouTube Channel: Chapelcares or at on our Sermon Archive
  • Part 1: Daniel: God Is in Control
  • Scripture: Daniel 1:1-21
  • Communion: We will share communion during the service, so have your elements prepared if you would like to participate.

Chapel Adults Online

If you aren’t currently involved with a group, we strongly encourage you to plug-in to one of our many adult online groups that are up and running online. We have groups geared toward a variety of ages and stages which include college and career, married couples, groups for men, groups for women, and mixed groups.  Especially during this period where we cannot physically meet together, a small group experience can help connect you with others while deepening your walk with the Lord.  Connect with the leaders below to help you discover which group is the best fit for you.

Volunteers Hard at Work

We wanted you to know that though the chapel facility is closed, our building is not being neglected.  We have had a wonderful team working to keep our grounds looking beautiful (while engaging in social-distancing best practices).  We thought you might enjoy seeing some pictures taken around our church!

Outreach Update

Over the course of the next several weeks, we’ll be offering you updates from our Outreach Partners.  They will share with you what is going on in their ministry area as well as the impact of the COVID-19 situation on their ministry.

  • Rick and Myla Berry, of Converge Thailand Initiative
    https://converge.org/project/asia/thai-buddhist-initiative/thai-buddhist

“Social distancing and the high number of people out of work due to COVID-19 has totally stopped our efforts to get fully funded and connect people with what God is doing in Thailand and the Philippines. My travel has been replaced by Zoom calls and extra writing assignments. While people seem to have shut down to missions involvement, we have not. I like to say that "we are preparing to be prepared for when the world is open for business again."

English classes and church have both gone online in Thailand. That means students are learning English but missing the personal interaction that normally the Holy Spirit uses to lead them to Christ. Our missionaries all decided to stay on the field, so I take time each day to pray for all 21 of them. Facebook, Zoom, and email allows us all to stay connected pretty well. Thank you for praying.
  • Tom Slicklen, of Provision Ministry
    http://provisionministry.org/

“Provision Ministry continues to help supply our homeless community with new, essential items like food, clothes, footwear, and hygiene products.  Through Provision’s Homeless Care Pack Program, they are trying to provide needed new hygiene products to others in our community who are homeless and at increased risk during the COVID-19 crisis.

Provision has been re-distributing large donations such as diapers, clothing, and other goods to the areas of greatest need in central MA and MetroWest Boston.

According to the CDC, people experiencing unsheltered homelessness - those sleeping outside or in places not meant for human habitation - may be at increased risk for contracting COVID-19.”

For more information on how you can support or pray for any of our Outreach Partners, contact JP Delaney, Executive Director.
