In Romans 10:8-17 Paul links three ideas about the good news. (1) Hear the news. (2) Believe the news. (3) Spread the news. God wants everyone to hear this news, no matter what background, culture, or ethnicity. To become a Christian, you need to hear about Jesus’ death and resurrection and believe it. Lastly, to live as a Christian you will have a natural desire to spread the good news. There are many ways to accomplish this, but ultimately it will include actually speaking about the forgiveness Jesus offers. Paul encourages us to live as authentic members of a worldwide movement, transformed by Jesus, affecting everyone around us.
