We desire not only to provide service opportunities within the local church, but to focus on key areas that will best transform our world. For us, this means we will intentionally develop practical ways to meet the needs of the community, those trapped in the cycle of poverty, and children at risk. (John 13:5-15; Romans 12:9-13; Mark 10:45; James 1:27)

We desire to live out the reality of sacrificial service in our everyday relationships. This means that we will try to partner with existing ministries to meet needs, rather than trying to re-invent all programs in a self-focused or local manner. (I Samuel 12:24; Ephesians 4:11-16; John 13:5-15; Mark 10:45)

We feel called to do good works for people with no expectations of personal credit or demanding a behavioral change of those we are serving. We simply love to serve and help others, period. (Romans 12:9-13; James 1:27; Mark 10:45)
