Celebrate Advent at Chapel
Experiencing God's Love TOGETHER
We invite you to join us during the Advent Season as we explore our series, God So Loved. During this unprecedented time, it is imperative for us to continue to be thankful for the love God has bestowed upon us and find ways to celebrate this love together, as God's children.
As we discover God's great love for us, let it prompt us to love others well. We long for us to come together on Sunday mornings this Advent. Register for in-person services at 9:30 and 11 AM or join us for our online Livestream at Chapel's YouTube Channel. We also invite you to participate in these Chapel events this Christmas season.

Christmas Lights Drive
Dec 14th - Jan 1st
'Tis the season to be jolly and enjoy those special touches of Christmas. What's better than a drive to look at Christmas lights with holiday music playing in the background? We're making a list of the families and friends here at Chapel who would like to share the lights of Christmas with each other. We can enjoy a little bit of Christmas together, in a safe and distanced way.
- If you've decorated your home, whether it be simple or grand, classic or whimsical, and want to share it, send your address to Kristen Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org before December 12.
- Turn your Christmas lights on after dark, from December 14- January 1, giving everyone plenty of time to make the drive when the timing and day are best for them.
- Please lift the family in prayer as you're near their home, enjoying their decorations. This, above all, will help us to feel united in love for each other and Christ as we celebrate his birth in new ways this year.
Christmas Eve Services
Thursday, Dec 24th @ 4:30 & 6 PM
Christmas Eve Candlelight service is a treasured tradition for many, and we hope you consider joining us for one of our services. We'll begin with worship indoors and close our time together with an outdoor candle lighting and singing of Silent Night.
Registration required and indoor seating will close when we have reached our maximum capacity. Registration for Christmas Eve Services opens on Monday, November 30th.
Chapel Family Christmas Cards
The past several months of social distancing have left many of us feeling disconnected. To help us remember that we are all apart of God's family, we are creating a Christmas Card Display in the church foyer. Hang up your card or mail it in to the office so we can display it for you!
Send cards to Chapel of the Cross, 160 Flanders Road, Westborough, MA 01581.
Chapel's Got Talent
Thursday, Dec 31st @ 6 PM
Let's ring in the new year by celebrating how God uniquely gifted us through this digital and Livestream event. It can be anything that shows your creativity and talent. That means any performance or created works of art are eligible*. Submit your artwork, writing, or video showing your performance as a group or individual, then on New Year's Eve we will host livestreaming hosted event that will show off your talents for the whole Chapel of the Cross family to enjoy!
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
We also extend our gratitude to the many families and individuals who participated in Operation Christmas Child. This charity collects shoebox gifts‑filled with fun toys, school supplies, and hygiene items—and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way. Items were dropped off by Sunday, November 22nd for distribution.
