Middle and High School

  • 1st Sunday Night of the Month
  • 4:30 - 7:00 pm
  • Great first-time event

Blast = fun! We all meet together in the youth room for upfront games, prizes, announcements, worship and a great talk, meaningful for everyone. Drop off is at 4:30 pm, and the countdown begins! We start at exactly 4:38 pm. You won’t want to be late! Each month, we have plenty of time for an awesome large group game that everyone can enjoy. Games are great at breaking down walls and creating a fun energetic environment. After the game, we have a hangout time with snack in the foyer. Pickup is at 7:00 pm.

Middle and High School

  • 2nd - 4th Sundays Nights
  • 4:30 - 7:00 pm
  • Next Step for a Deeper Faith

ReFuel will take place during the same time-frame as Blast. ReFuel focuses on deepening our relationships with Jesus and each other. The basic topics covered at Blast are taken to a deeper lever in separate age-based small groups. At ReFuel, we learn about how to live out your faith by going deeper on practical topics. We start the same as Blast, and start at exactly 4:38 pm.  Next, we break out by Middle School and High School age groups. High Schoolers start by having small group discussions, then hangout in the lobby. Leaders and students hangout together, have snacks, play games, and have great conversations. Middle schoolers follow a similar schedule but start with hangout time. After groups, we end with a combined large group game. Pickup is at 7:00 pm.

Middle and High School

  • Wednesday Nights 6:30 - 8:00 pm

We start by all hanging out in the youth room. At 6:45 pm, we break out into age-based small groups for our deepest level of discussion about our faith walk. Our heart is that every student at Chapel, out of an authentic relationship with Jesus, should be able to read the Bible for themselves and apply it to their everyday lives.

Middle School

  • Sundays 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Middle Schoolers start in the youth room for announcements, and a quick summary of the sermon just given at the 9:30 Service. Then guys and girls have small group discussion. Leaders provide a time to read the Bible verse that was covered in the sermon, age-specific application points, and small group questions. We come back together in the youth room to close in prayer.

Gathered Worship

There is no Sunday morning program for High Schoolers. We as a Youth Leadership team feel strongly that for long-term spiritual health, it is very important all Chapel Students learn how to worship with the larger church family in the gathered service. We understand that attending the main worship service is a big step. To help, we have a Student Section, where all the students will sit together for the service. If you are looking at the stage, the first 3-4 rows on the far left (close to the Youth Room) is
the student section.

Chapel Family Sundays

Every 5th Sunday of the month is a Chapel Family Sunday. There is no Student programming Sunday morning nor Sunday evening. Everyone is invited to worship together with all ages (including Chapel Kids). Chapel Students will be encouraged to be involved in the worship service.

Deep Freeze March 6th -8th

The theme for the weekend is Homecoming. No matter your past or present reality, despite your rebellion or rule-keeping, there is a place you were made to belong. God is pursuing you, inviting outsiders to come inside. To every daughter and son he is faithfully declaring, “Welcome home.” If this is your 12th time to Berea or if you have never been, you are invited!
